Urgent Need for Type O Blood Donors
The end-of-summer has brought a slowing of blood donations just as the need for blood products has trended upward. Type O donors are needed at Hoxworth Neighborhood Donor Centers or blood drives in the coming days and next week.
Appointments to donate blood are recommended, but never required. Call (513) 451-0910 to schedule your appointment. If you know your Donor ID and password you can schedule an appointment online.

Donating Blood
Donating blood is safe and easy. You must be at least 17 years old (16 with a signed parental consent) and in good health. You must weigh at least 110 pounds and bring identification to donate. It is recommended that donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours before donating.
Consider maximizing your gift of life by giving an Automated Red Cell donation (commonly known as a "Double Red donation). Learn more about this procedure.
