UC Law Grads Lead State in Bar Passage Rates

Graduates from the UC College of Law outperformed students from Ohio's other law schools on the July, 2006 Bar Exam, passing the test at a 92 percent rate. UC grads also led the state in performance on the February 2006 Bar exam.

Nippert Donates 60,000 Volumes to Marx Law Library

September 20, 2006

Alfred K. Nippert, Jr., a 1976 graduate of the UC College of Law and member of one of UC's most supportive families, has donated his vast library of law books to UC's Marx Law Library. The more than 60,000 volume donation helps make UC a principal research library, and was so large that it took three semi tractor-trailers to deliver.

Law School Opens Year With Address From Tennessee Chief Justice

The UC College of Law begins its 174th academic year on Tuesday, Aug. 22. Among the start-of-year activities for the students will be a welcoming address from Tennessee Supreme Court Chief Justice Mickey Barker, a member of the college's class of 1967.
