Homecoming 2000 Parking and Street Closing Information

Date: Oct. 3, 2000

The Division of Public Safety's new "Bug Me" Beetle will be on duty to guide alumni and other visitors around the UC campus Homecoming Weekend. But first, "Bug Me" will play a featured role during the Homecoming parade. The brightly painted Volkswagen Beetle was designed to attract questions from people who aren't always comfortable talking with police officers. Look for "Bug Me" near Bearcat Village (on the artificial turf practice field across from Johnny Bench Field).

1.) Clifton Avenue will close around 10 a.m.
2.) Calhoun Street and Martin Luther King Drive will close around 10:30 a.m.
3.) Streets will reopen to traffic shortly after the Homecoming parade ends (approximately 12:30 p.m.)
