Here's a Chance to Make Your Own Poster

"Posters 4 Peace," featuring cardboard posters made in the wake of the Cincinnati riots and recent terrorist attacks, will be displayed in UC's Edwards Gallery. The exhibit will have materials and space for anyone who attends to make a poster of their own to add to the collection.
Exhibit dates: Oct. 1-Nov. 16.
Where: Edwards Gallery, Room 6106, Edwards One.
Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.
Reception: 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, with Steve Sunderland, professor of social work, and creator of many of the posters.

Another exhibit: Several posters from Sunderland's collection are also exhibited at the African American History Museum of the Arts Consortium at the Cincinnati Museum Center. They are featured in the "Civil Unrest in Cincinnati: Voices of Our Community" display, which opened in July and runs through Oct. 21.
