Race Judicata In Home Stretch To Third Annual Event

Smoothing the way for law students to be of service to the community is the ultimate goal for the third annual Race Judicata, a 5k walk/run that serves as the chief fund-raiser for the UC College of Law's Public Interest Law Group. The March 14 race helps fund stipends that law students use so they can work in unpaid positions that benefit the public, the poor and the underserved.

College Of Law To Host Regional ABA Mediation Competition

Victory has its price, and after last year, when the UC College of Law s team of Susan Coan and Patricia Foster won the Midwest Regionals and then the National Representation in Mediation Competition, UC will follow the tradition of the winning school hosting its regional competition the following year. This year's Midwest Regional will take place at the College of Law on March 13-14.

Application Period Begins For Success Challenge Grants

Applications can be submitted from now through April 23 for Success Challenge University Retention Grants for the 2004-05 and 2005-06 academic years. The grants will support new programs or enhance existing programs for the support of retention efforts at UC.

UC Clermont Welcomes Buddhist Master

Dzogchen master Traga Rinpoche visits UC Clermont College on Thursday March 11, 2004 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in Room 142, Snyder Hall. This event includes a discussion of Buddhist philosophies and views of life, as well as a question-and-answer session. Both the college and community are invited to attend this free event.
