Award-Winning Alum Goes from Warehouse to Board Room

Raymond Walters College named Eric Broyles as this year's Distinguished Alumni Award recipient. Broyles graduated high school at the bottom of his class, but perservered at RWC. He's been so successful since that he was able to buy the company where he worked part-time as a college student.

Faculty Invited to Blackboard Workshop

UC faculty with an interest in technology as a teaching tool are invited to attend a workshop later this month. Titled "Taking Blackboard to the Next Level," the workshop will be held on Thursday, April 24, in UC's Event Pavilion.

Allied Health to Sponsor Health-Related Majors Expo

The College of Allied Health Sciences is sponsoring a Health-Related Majors Expo in the West Campus Events Pavilion on April 29. Faculty-Student Team Tells Women's Holocaust Experiences

UC Diet Study Published in National Journal

A recent study conducted at UC found that a low carbohydrate (Atkins) diet was more effective than a low fat, calorie-controlled diet for short-term weight loss. The study, is published in the April issue of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.
