Death Penalty Program To Be Webcast Live Sept. 29

Sam Reese Shepherd and a man who lost his daughter in the 1995 Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing are among the speakers who will be at the UC College of Law on Sept. 29 for "Death Penalty Perspectives: The Journey of Hope." The program, sponsored by the college's Center for Law and Justice and the Criminal Law Association, is open to the public and can also be viewed live over the Internet by UC's Streaming Media Project.

UCit Has Updated Bearcat Online E-Mail System Up And Running

UC students will start the new year with an upgrade in their e-mail services, following the introduction this month by UCit of a new software system for Bearcat Online accounts that offers greater flexibility and performance, along with improved security.

Traffic Advice: Students Should Arrive Early

Wednesday, Sept. 24, is the first day of classes for the new academic year at the University of Cincinnati. Adding to the traffic crunch this year are an increase in enrollment and continuing development around campus. Students and visitors driving to UC this fall should arrive early, according to UC Parking Services. A new shuttle service between CCM Plaza and Eden Avenue Garage has also been added.
