UC College of Business holds Sarbanes-Oxley Act on May 20

UC College of Business will host a symposium on the Sarbanes-Oxley Act on May 20 from 1:30 to 5 pm. Sarbanes-Oxley was signed into law in July 2002 with the intent of restoring public confidence in the accounting industry. How successful has it been? Given that we are approaching the three-year anniversary of the act, it may be appropriate to consolidate our experience and assess what it means for the future of the profession.

The C-Ring is an award given each spring to the outstanding graduating senior women at UC. Selected by a diverse committee of UC faculty, staff, students and alumnae, the winner is announced at the annual banquet, which will be Saturday, May 14 this year.

PULSE Summit at UC Presents Info on Status of Women and Girls in Greater Cincinnati

Hundreds gathered on May 13 in the Great Hall in UC s Tangeman University Center to hear about and discuss the status of women and girls in the eight-county area around and including Cincinnati. The summit, which ran from noon to 6 p.m., presented many noteworthy speakers to an audience of Cincinnati s foremost leading women.
