Vikings and Firebirds and Bears! Oh My!!

In the Stock Market Game, students and adults invested $100,000 over a 10-week period.  The game, which is administered in Cincinnati by UC s Economics Center for Education & Research, is open to students in grades 4 to 12. The results are in and the winning students have returned from New York City. Some adults played, as well, but not any better!

What will it take to win? The only certainty is that the non-winning teams will have to take a taxi -- even before the competition is over!

Anne Stephens Stands Tall Among Her Peers

At 6 feet, 4 inches tall, Anne Stephens is taller than six out of UC s 13 basketball players on the UC men s team. As the tallest woman ever to letter in basketball at the University of Cincinnati, center Anne Stephens certainly stands out in a crowd. But she s outstanding in more ways than one.
