Selected from a small cohort of rising theatre designers, both students presented models, renderings and process materials on the expo floor, offering industry professionals a behind-the-scenes look at their work.

The HBO Original five-part documentary series "Born to Bowl," directed by CCM Media Production alumnus Brian Lazarte and James Lee Hernandez, from A24 and executive produced by Ben Stiller, and narrated by Liev Schreiber, airs its final episode on Monday, April 13. It will be available to watch on HBO as well as stream on HBO Max.

The Percussive Arts Society Composition Contest has named UC College-Conservatory of Music student San-Lou Wei, a second-year DMA candidate, as its grand prize winner for her original work, Moon Blocks: A Divination Ritual 擲筊.

A new collaboration between the University of Cincinnati's Digital Performance Lab (DP Lab), CCM Acting, UC's School of Information Technology, and the Cincinnati Fire Museum is using gaming technology to bring essential fire safety education to children. The project titled Fire Escape is an interactive video game designed to teach K-12 students how to respond safely during a house fire. It was developed through Digital Futures research support, student game development, and guidance from local fire safety professionals.

Do you have a favorite film music theme? Have you ever wondered how film scores come to life? Discover the art of film scoring during the one-day Film Scoring Summit at UC's College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Led by Professor Jasmine Guo, the Film Scoring Summit is a free event for rising 10th-12th grade students. Participants will delve into the magic of music in film, experiment with scoring and learn about CCM's Commercial Music Production (CMP) program. The Summit ends with a tour of CCM's recording studios and a Q&A session with faculty.
