The University of Cincinnati Department of Public Safety is seeking accredited status from the Ohio Collaborative Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (OCLEAP). The Department of Public Safety invites feedback from the public regarding its compliance with OCLEAP standards, engagement in the community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status.

The UCPD Exemplary Action Recognition Award will acknowledge civilians whose actions during an incident demonstrate bravery, courage, selflessness, or service beyond what would reasonably be expected of an ordinary citizen.
