UC Moves a Step Closer to Engineering Cells Via Foam

The groundbreaking research of Hyo-Jick Choi, UC research assistant professor, was recently featured in the February issue of Nanotechnology. Choi and his colleagues have discovered that ranaspumin-2 foam the foam nests of frogs shows potential as a biochemical reactor. This discovery brings us a step closer to the reproduction of in vitro engineering.
