DAAP School of Planning to Host Graduate Programs Open House

UC's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning s School of Planning will host an open house for its graduate programs, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19. Programs include Masters of Community Planning, Masters Landscape Architecture and PhD Urban and Regional Development Planning. To register, email ucplanning@ucmail.edu.

Design Conference Papers Available Through Scholar@UC

Last fall, UC s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning hosted the International Association of Societies of Design Research (IASDR), welcoming more than 300 participants from 25 countries to campus. The papers presented at IASDR 2017 are now accessible to the public in perpetuity through Scholar@UC.

Online Registration for DAAPcamps Opens March 1

DAAPcamps are week-long immersions for high school and middle school students to explore their creative passion areas and expand their skills in specific artistic disciplines. Set on UC s architecturally renown campus and supervised by the faculty and staff at the globally recognized College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, each day at camp includes time spent on studio projects, field trips and social activities for the perfect mix of practice and inspiration. The camps run in June and July; discounts are available for UC employees.

Applications due March 5 are open to faculty, students and alumni who have worked on any design, architecture, art or planning projects for communities in need. The annual DAAPcares event takes place 6-8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 5, on DAAP s fifth floor in front of Reed Gallery.
