University Hospital Flight Nurse Honored at 2009 Nightingale Awards

Six top award winners recognized at the April 22, 2009 Nighingale Awards ceremony at the Hyatt Regency. Winners were presented a bronze bust of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, and $1,000. Ten finalists were also honored with Dean s Awards at the event and were presented a plaque and $400.

This year s event takes place on Thursday, March 5, noon to 1 p.m. at Kresge Auditorium, and features esteemed speaker Michael Sandel, DPhil, whose lecture is titled: How Should We Treat the Human Body? Ethical Dilemmas and Public Controversies.
