UC Blue Ash College Receives Largest Gift in its History

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College s 50-year anniversary coincides with the largest gift in its history. The estate of retired professor Judith (Judy) Baughin will provide nearly $400,000 to two scholarships she established with her late husband, William (Bill) Baughin, who was also a UC Blue Ash professor.

Farmer Family Foundation Donates $10 Million to Cincinnati Cancer Center

The Farmer Family Foundation made a $10 million gift to support cancer research and care through the Cincinnati Cancer Center, a collaboration of the University of Cincinnati, UC Health and Cincinnati Children s Hospital Medical Center. With a focus on faculty recruitment and research, the gift will advance the CCC s effort to achieve National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center designation.

National Down Syndrome Society partners with UC Health’s Timothy Freeman, MD, Center for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

The National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and UC Health’s Timothy Freeman, MD, Center for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are working together to advance care for adults with Down syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Greater Cincinnati region and nationwide. Through a gift of $100,000, NDSS is supporting a program manager for the center that will allow clinical teams to grow a model of holistic, patient-centered care that the organization hopes can be replicated in other areas of the country.
