SuccessFactors News Job Profiles Replace Job Descriptions

All UC faculty, staff and student employees have access to view Job Profiles from the SuccessFactors landing page. Job Profiles, which replace Job Descriptions, include essential job functions and characteristic duties to be successful in a positon. Job Descriptions will no longer be posted on the UC HR website. An informational video and Job Aid is available on the SuccessFactors landing page.

Impact Solutions Offers Discounts on Vacations, Cell Phones, Movie Tickets and More

Did you know UC's employee assistance program, Impact Solutions, provides discounts to everyday items like rental cars, electronics and gift cards through its Corporate Perks membership? Set up a Corporate Perks account and take advantage of the discounts on everything from flowers to movie tickets to fitness apparel. Family and friends are also able to share discount benefits.

Additional Benefit Available for VSP Vision Plan Members

Beginning July 1, 2018, standard progressive lenses instead of lined bifocals will be covered in full for UC employees (and their covered family members) who elected VSP vision plan coverage. This will not change employees premiums. This lens enhancement will be reflected in July on employees online VSP benefit summaries. Did You Know the Blood Pressure Guidelines Have Been Updated?

The new ranges have been established and lowered by the American Heart Association with the goal of detecting high blood pressure earlier and lowering risks for other diseases, like heart attack and stroke. Drop in and get your blood pressure screened for free 11 a.m.-1 p.m. May 9 in University Hall 455.

UC’s employee wellness program earns Platinum Award

The Healthy Business Council of Ohio (HBCO) will recognize 119 Ohio employers for healthy worksite practices during the In-Value-Able Virtual Conference Series in February 2022. Among the recipients being honored is the University of Cincinnati's employee wellness program, Be Well UC.

New wellness portal and incentive structure launching Feb. 1

Be Well UC is UC’s employee wellness program that launched in August 2015. The program is free, comprehensive, and voluntary. Be Well UC aims to educate, support, and empower faculty and staff to live healthy lifestyles and build into a culture of well-being.
