Non-invasive hysterectomy may lead to shorter survival rates

A new study co-authored by a University of Cincinnati (UC) resident physician and published in the Oct. 31 online edition of the New England Journal of Medicine shows that a non-invasive radical hysterectomy may lead to shorter survival rates than open surgery in women with early-stage cervical cancer.

Shortly after her arrival, she is haunted by the malicious ghosts of a former valet and his lover, who she fears are stalking her innocent charges. Determined to save the children, the governess battles the supernatural while struggling with the apparent complicity of the children.


UC class goes off the grid for “Darktober”

Associate Professor Matt Lynch teaches a wood sculpture course in UC’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) where, in addition to learning about wood construction and creating sculptural artworks made of wood, students have been challenged to work sans electricity for the month of October — “Darktober.”
