Making design history courses more inclusive

For decades, students taking Design in History I and II courses at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) were learning design history based on a select group of notables — mostly male, white designers who achieved fame in the 20th century. WVXU: Ohio social media law heads to court

A new law in Ohio that would require parental consent to use social media platforms is being challenged in court. UC's children's media expert Nancy Jennings says more education and digital literacy would solve some of the issues cited in the law.
