Caroline Miller, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, is responsible for the oversight of the central enrollment offices and functions of UC including Undergraduate Admissions, University Registrar, Student Financial Aid, Advising and Academic Services and the Onestop Student Services Center. As a member of the Provost’s senior leadership team, Miller maintains and communicates the five-year Strategic Enrollment Plan and the Complete College Ohio plan, which develops new initiatives to increase timely degree attainment and rates of completion. She provides leadership to the university’s SEM structure and working groups, and serves as a steering committee member to UC’s Catalyst Project, the implementation and sustainment of the new Student Information System. Miller also serves as convener for UC’s Student Success Collaborative, a partnership between Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management and Student Affairs designed to help all undergraduates thoughtfully integrate academic and career planning, coursework, experiential learning and co-curricular experiences from admission through graduation.
Before joining UC, Miller served as Dean of Academic Services at the College of New Jersey and Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management at the University of North Carolina Asheville. An alumna of Hollins College with a doctorate from Purdue University, Miller’s scholarly and professional interests focus on student retention and success strategies and the impact of public policy on higher education.
