Students of three courses that took place in the Fall Quarter of 2011 presented work under the Place Matters series of the studio focusing on the Covington Center City Action Plan. The students presented 26 different projects ranging from city-wide bike plans to specific redevelopment proposals
Presentations took place over two days and were critiqued by engineering professors Eric Inglert, Dr Paul Orwkism Dr. Richard Miller, Planning Professors Dr Mahyar Arefi, Frank Russell, and Ms. Juliana Silveira, and Covington’s city representatives Mr. Andy Jeungling and Mr. Jeremy Wallace. Students also presented their work alongside professional consultants at the open house of the Covington Center City Action Plan at the Covington Artisan’s Enterprise Center at two public sessions on March 14th.
