 New legislation passed by the BIG EAST conference and its member institutions requires schools to keep individuals off the field after games to ensure the safety of fans, athletes and coaches.

Club Sports

UC Club Sports promotes a variety of physical and athletic activities which gives students opportunities to engage in their choice of skill levels. 


Intramural Sports

Intramural sports are open to all UC students and employees and involve league or tournament play.

Football players in action.
The UC football team and returning BIG EAST Coach of the Year, Brian Kelly, are projected to finish fifth in the 2008 BIG EAST Conference according to the preseason poll. The Bearcats are coming off a 10-win season which set a school record. Go Bearcats!


Campus Recreation Center

UC's Campus Recreation Center (CRC) is a state-of-the-art fitness and recreation facility with more than 200,000 square feet of recreation space for students, employees and friends of the university.

University Fitness Center

University Fitness has recently merged with the University of Cincinnati Campus Recreation Center allowing expanded services and facilities for East Campus.

College of Applied Science Honors Scholar-Athlete

 Three-year captain of UC's women's soccer team, Kim Sykes, has maintained a 3.98 GPA. Her dedication to excellence on and off the field led to her being named this month's CAS scholar-athlete.
