Kelce, Cook, Chiefs Return to Super Bowl

CINCINNATI – Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce helped advance the Chiefs to their fourth Super Bowl in the last five seasons while setting a new playoff reception record.

Travis Kelce hauled in a game-high 11 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown in the 17-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. The future Hall of Fame tight end now has 156 postseason receptions, passing Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice for the most in postseason history.

Super Bowl LVIII will feature a Cincinnati product for the fifth straight season and the 27th overall. Kelce has four appearances, giving him the most Super Bowl appearances by a Bearcat. Bryan Cook, a starting safety on the 2021 CFP team, is on injured reserve. He played the first 12 games, totaling 42 tackles, an interception and two fumble recoveries in his second season.
