Learn It Live with Be Well UC: Healthy Meal Planning

DAAPcares Applications Due March 5

DAAPcares is a collective of faculty, students and alumni committed to improving the quality of life for individuals and communities in need through the pursuit of theoretical and applied projects and research. Have a humanitarian project to showcase? Applications due March 5 are open to faculty, students and alumni who have worked on any design, architecture, art or planning projects for communities in need. The annual DAAPcares event takes place 6-8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 5, on DAAP s fifth floor in front of Reed Gallery.

Online Registration for DAAPcamps Opens March 1

DAAPcamps are week-long immersions for high school and middle school students to explore their creative passion areas and expand their skills in specific artistic disciplines. Set on UC s architecturally renown campus and supervised by the faculty and staff at the globally recognized College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, each day at camp includes time spent on studio projects, field trips and social activities for the perfect mix of practice and inspiration. The camps run in June and July; discounts are available for UC employees.

DAAP School of Planning to Host Graduate Programs Open House

Design Conference Papers Available Through Scholar@UC

Last fall, UC s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning hosted the International Association of Societies of Design Research (IASDR), welcoming more than 300 participants from 25 countries to campus. The papers presented at IASDR 2017 are now accessible to the public in perpetuity through Scholar@UC.

WCPO: University of Cincinnati Professor Releases Archive of Marine Life Photos

David Meyer has spent decades exploring the secrets of the sea and shooting underwater photos of marine species. Meyer, a University of Cincinnati professor emeritus, now wants to pass on his research to the next generation. He's converting his photographs to digital images for an online global marine biodiversity archive hosted by the university.
