Guest Lecture: Biology in the Classroom, Should Atheists Be Allowed to Teach

UC's Graduate School will bring Michael Ruse, a noted Darwin scholar, to campus to lecture on contemporary ethical issues in science and research. The presentation will address issues pertinent to today's teachers, scientists and researchers.

The event is free and open to the public and will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, 2010, in Room 300, Braunstein Hall.

Engineering student works to create safer ground transportation

Sai Bonthu, a doctoral candidate of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Cincinnati, is working to develop a product that has the potential to accurately reduce traffic accidents. Peter Jutras, PhD, professor of piano and piano pedagogy and director of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music (HHSOM) at the University of Georgia, has been named dean of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, effective Aug. 1, 2024, pending approval of the UC Board of Trustees.
