National Student Day

National Student Day organizers held a contest for student volunteers to share a picture of themselves volunteering on campus or in the community. Three random winners won $1,000 and a matching $1,000 went to the charity of their choice.

On Tuesday, October 14, UC celebrated the 4th Annual National Student Day along with 1,500+ other participating universities. This special day celebrated and promoted social responsibility and volunteerism by students and included freebies, events, and big discounts.  Check out the schedule of events below.

Sponsored by Campus Services and the UC Bookstores in collaboration with the Center for Community Engagement (CCE), Student Activities and Leadership Development (SALD), and UC Sustainability.
