The Career Development Center is the centralized, comprehensive career services center where undergraduates, graduate students and alumni of the University of Cincinnati are "first" in our focus and commitment. The Career Development Center is a department within the Division of Student Affairs and Services at the University of Cincinnati. Our primary purpose is to assist and guide students and alumni in their career quest. We cultivate employers as partners by initiating and facilitating opportunities in the public, private, governmental, and corporate sectors. Students can use community resources which include the university, employers, agencies, and other external populations.
The Career Development Center produces several major career fairs; provides on campus recruiting, workshops, programs, and opportunities for students that facilitate career exploration, experiential work experience, and professional development. Comprehensive technology and available resources enable us to increase quality service delivery to students and alumni who will become the employees of choice by employers nationwide.
The Career Development Center at the University of Cincinnati has joined with colleges and departments on campus to form the University Career Services & Programs Advisory Network (UCSPAN). Its mission is to bring together UC partners involved in career-related services in a one-stop cross-university communication to provide a more seamless experience for students and for employers who seek to hire UC students for their full-time, internship or part-time job opportunities.
