The International Experience Programs combine comprehensive cultural immersion with work integrated-learning.
Students earn academic credit for their full-time, semester-long, academic internship or co-op. (Internships and co-op experiences are unpaid.) This learning opportunity provides students with a competitive advantage in the global marketplace by expanding their academic, cultural and industrial knowledge.
The Division of Experience-Based Learning and Career Education works collaboratively with the Academic Internship Council (AIC) and the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) to offer students personalized job placement, furnished housing, professional development, networking opportunities, cultural enrichment, recreational activities and 24-hour emergency support.
