The University of Cincinnati is committed to preparing students for life after graduation through meaningful experience-based learning and career education. Our internship pathways provide students with rich professional development content and connect students with relevant experiences that enhance their education and prepare them for their next steps, whether that involves a full-time job or graduate/professional school.
Through the Division of Experience-Based Learning and Career Education, students have access to a variety of professional development courses and services to prepare for and secure academic internships in their field. Students can also earn credit for their internships through our office.
The Academic Internship Program is open to students in any major that does not have mandatory co-op requirements. Courses provide students with professional development content and experiential learning reflection and support.
The Pre-Health Internship Program is open to any student interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Courses provide students with professional development content and experiential learning reflection and support specific to the healthcare field, including applying to professional schools.
