Power Systems Technology Option to the Electrical Engineering Technology Associate Degree is designed to provide a solid understanding of electrical equipment, power generation and power distribution that spans the production of electric power and its distribution and routing to our homes. The curriculum has been carefully crafted to meet current and projected industry requirements while retaining the college's signature "hands-on" approach to higher education. Cooperative work experiences are part of the standard curriculum and positions are available through Duke Energy, UC Power Plant Operations and others.
