UC SES

The UC Supplemental Educational Services (SES) program strengthens academic achievement and provides enrichment for eligible students through individualized, targeted academic interventions. The SES provision of No Child Left Behind (NCLB) enables low-income parents to seek out free tutoring services for their children who are struggling in school. These services provide students with extra help in the academic subjects of reading, language arts and mathematics. The tutoring services are to be delivered outside the regular school day, before or after school and/or on weekends.

UC SES is a state-approved provider and received a quality rating of "high" from the Ohio Department's Quality of Services observation in 2011. The University of Cincinnati has the capacity and resources to deliver a high-quality, research-based tutoring program that is aligned with state standards.
