Ticket Information

2015 Spring Ceremonies

Bachelor & Associate Degree Ceremonies will require tickets for guests. When students "Apply to Graduate" and indicate that they are planning to participate in the ceremony, tickets were automatically reserved. Each student who indicated they would participate in the ceremony will be able to claim up to five tickets. All tickets are for general admission - first come, first seated.

Ten Steps: To get started, it is recommended that you use web browser Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. For security reasons University Tickets (ticket vendor) does not recommend using Internet Explorer.

  1. To claim your tickets, go to:
  2. You will need to Register : ‘Graduate Login’
  3. Select ‘New User Registration’
  4. Register with your Name, UC Email Address, Create Password, and select ‘Save’
  5. Select the ceremony you are eligible to participate
  6. Under Ticketing Information, select the number of tickets you want from the drop down; Select ‘Add to Order’
  7. Verify you have the correct number of tickets listed; select ‘Checkout’
  8. Read the instructions to verify the information, check the box if you want to donate any tickets remaining, and then select ‘Checkout’
  9. You are now able to print your ticket(s) or email them to your guest (If you email, fill in name, email, and your personal message)
  10. Done; Select ‘Logout’ - You will receive an email confirmation

Dates & Timelines

  • Each student must claim their reserved tickets (up to five) by Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Any unclaimed tickets will be donated on Thursday, April 16.
  • IF any additional tickets are available, each student can Claim up to two additional tickets beginning Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 9 a.m. ET. Availability is real-time; check often.

Not Eligible
The system says I’m not eligible. Below are some of the solutions.

  • Are you using your UC email address (your UConnect)? This is your email that ends in or It does not recognize personal email addresses.

Extra Tickets

  • Can I get extra tickets? Yes, IF any extra tickets are available.
  • How many can I claim? Each student can claim up to two beginning April 8, 2015 at 9 a.m. ET. Through Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2:15 p.m. ET.
  • How often should I look to see if extras are available? Ticket availability is real time all the time. Meaning you can check whenever you have time and often.

Claim Tickets
What is the timeline to claim my original five tickets?

  • Student can claim tickets from Monday, March 30 2015 at 9 a.m. ET through Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Not Attending
Please notify the Commencement Office so that your tickets can be donated as extras at: Please provide your name and college.

No Tickets
I don’t have tickets, where can my guests see me graduate?

  • Tickets are not required for the Family Friendly Zone
  • Additionally, Live Video Streaming will be available anywhere:

Print Tickets
Guests should plan to print their tickets before arriving to campus. The ticket will be needed for entry. Please note, each ticket printed has a unique bar code which allows entry to the ceremony only once. If there are multiple copies made, the first copy of the E-Ticket to arrive at the ceremony will gain entry after scanning and validation. Other copies of this ticket will be denied entry.

Summer Ceremony

Each graduating student will be able to invite up to eight guests; no tickets will be needed to attend the ceremony. Seating is general admission - first come, first seated.

Each graduating student will be able to invite up to eight guests; no tickets will be needed to attend the ceremony. Seating is general admission - first come, first seated.


General Information

  • Guests with limited mobility or small children are encouraged to take advantage of the Family Friendly Zone. More information for guests with special needs can be found here.
  • Doors will open 90 minutes prior to the ceremony. 
  • Ceremonies generally last approximately 2 1/2 hours each
  • Family Friendly Zone does not require tickets nor reservations.  What is the Family Friendly Zone?
