Welcome to the University of Cincinnati Faculty Senate Website! The Faculty Senate and its standing committees have the responsibility of acting as advisors to the Administration and the Board of Trustees of the University. Thus, the Senate represents faculty perspectives through a “shared governance” model and gives voice to the diversity and expertise that exists across our many colleges and divisions. The Faculty Senate serves as a formal deliberative body on educational/academic policies and seeks to advance the mission of the University of Cincinnati.  We hope you will find the website informative and useful.  Suggestions for additions or improvements to this site should be sent to facultysenate@uc.edu.
