The Programs & Activities Council (PAC) is a student run organization dedicated to promoting and developing community growth and quality leadership through the sponsorship of films, concerts, comedians, speakers, and novelty events.

Becoming a member:

PAC accepts applications for membership at all times, but only accepts new members during times of PAC recruitment. Our group membership is currently capped at 45 undergraduate and graduate students of UC.

Please return applications to the PAC mailbox located at 673 Steger Center or emailed to pac.cincinnati@gmail.com.

The PAC Membership will contact those who submit a PAC membership application to setup interview times. All membership decisions are made by the Membership Committee of PAC.

Expectations of a member:

  • Attend the weekly PAC meetings (Monday’s at 5pm, 425 TUC)
  • Meet weekly with Program Director/Committee to discuss and plan programs and activities
  • Discuss and vote on programs and issues pertaining to every PAC committee
  • Gather & evaluate student opinions after programs
  • Participate in & attend at least 3 PAC-sponsored functions a quarter
  • Actively work to promote PAC and events as directed by the Promotions/Advertising Exec
  • Attend quarterly retreats (3 per year)
  • Maintain a 2.3 grade point average

Important Dates for Recruitment:

  • October 12-13, 2011:  PAC Information Nights 427 TUC (You only need to attend one)
  • October 17, 2011:  Membership applications are due in the PAC office (673 Steger Student Life Center) by 4:00 pm or by email to pac.cincinnati@gmail.com
  • October 19-20, 2011:  Interviews for the potential new members
  • October 24, 2011:  First PAC meeting – New members will attend
  • November 5-6, 2011:  PAC Retreat
