Programs in this section are put on by other UC departments or hosted in the community and may also be used to earn Be Well UC points.

Quitting and reducing tobacco use is hard.  Don't go it alone!  Learn how to navigate tools and resources that meet your needs while being in a supportive group setting to help you plan a successful quit plan! Attend both sessions to increase your chance to succeed.  Sessions can be one-on-one or in a group setting.  Reach out to tobaccofree@uc.edu or call 513-556-0116 to get started!

New classes for the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program will start throughout 2018.  Visit the Diabetes Resources and Services page to learn about eligibility, sessions dates, other incentives, and more!

Calling all garden gurus and environmental enthusiasts! Learn the details of soil science, a variety of composting methods, and how to share your knowledge with our local community. 10 hours of classroom instruction will be complemented by 10 hours of field study, exposing participants to the vast wealth of composting resources in our area. Certificates will be awarded upon completion of 30 volunteer hours working in community gardens and education programs.  Proof of basic composting knowledge via a pre-test is required for enrollment.
