In-Class Presentations

We offer in-class educational workshops. Some topics could include: transgender issues, the history of the LGBTQ movement, the importance of language and linguistics, the coming out process, etc.

Queer Student Panels

Queer student panels are composed of a group of LGBTQ-identified students who talk about their experiences. Panels are available for classrooms, departments, and organizations.

Queer Spirituality

An all inclusive look at religion and spirituality, and how it is connected to sexual orientation and gender identification.

Colors of Pride

Colors of Pride is a social support group for allies and queer people of color. Discussions focus around intersections of race, sexuality, and gender.

GenderBloc

GenderBloc is a radical queer activist, support and social student group at the University of Cincinnati for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied students focusing on gender issues including transgender and genderqueer activism.

LGBTQ Alumni Groups at UC

UC LGBTQ Alumni and Friends

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Alumni and Friends group was created in 2010 to provide support and resources to the University of Cincinnati LGBTQ community. Alumni, faculty, students and staff serve as representatives. Our goal is to foster connections among LGBTQ alumni and create a sustainable link back to their alma mater through programs, events, and activities. As part of our mission we will raise funds for LGBTQ related student scholarships.
