UC Partnership Seeks Votes to Benefit Children Experiencing Homelessness
True Hero is an organization that awards funding to deserving student service projects based on votes from community members. Zoo-Mates, a mentoring program sponsored by UC's Center for Community Engagement, is in the running for True Hero's nationwide community service award. Zoo-Mates pairs UC students with children experiencing homelessness for year-long mentoring relationships in partnership with Project Connect and the Cincinnati Zoo.
Please visit the True Hero website, and vote for the Zoo-Mates project by entering your email address.
Winning a grant from True Hero would allow UC and Zoo-Mates to continue serving the needs of children in our community. Voting runs until June 30.
