WATCH ME: UC Joins 'Play Me, I m Yours' International Arts Celebration

A street piano was delivered to the front steps of Tangeman University Center late this morning, as UC became part of Cincinnati’s "Play Me, I’m Yours" international arts celebration.

The citywide event celebrates the anniversaries of Cincinnati Public Radio stations. The UC piano will be the featured attraction of a recital featuring College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) Prep faculty and students at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 12.

"Play Me, I’m Yours" at UC is sponsored by MainStreet and the CCM Music Preparatory Department. The above video features the piano setup this morning and the first person to take a try at tickling the ivories.

Available only to alumni of the Sphinx Organization, these competitive grants are intended to “empower artists’ careers.”
