The Ombuds provides free, confidential and informal conflict resolution assistance to University of Cincinnati members.
The Ombuds Office offers Mediation Services to help resolve multi-party disputes as well as one-on-one Conflict Coaching for people who would like guidance and assistance with resolving a dispute.
What is Mediation?
Mediation is a voluntary, informal and confidential process in which trained, neutral mediators facilitate a conversation between disputing parties to assist them in finding common ground and a long term agreement to resolve the dispute. What is Conflict Coaching?
Conflict Coaching is a one-on-one process that helps people effectively manage their own conflicts. The Ombuds provide confidential and impartial advice for the UC community. For more information about Conflict Coaching, please contact the Ombuds office at 556-5956.
