Exciting, well-rounded experiences for day campers 6-12 years old.
MISSION: Our mission is to provide your child with an exciting, well-rounded recreation experience. R.E.C. Kids Camp is structured to emphasize your child’s development and education while promoting healthy lifestyles among school-age children.
Additionally, campers go on a variety of field trips. Each week has a different theme to keep the summer fun. Arts & crafts and other activities are coordinated with the theme of the week. Sign up for one week or the whole summer!
Camp Dates: June 14-August 13, 2010 9-One-Week Sessions
Camp Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm
ACTIVITIES: Arts & Crafts: Throughout the summer, campers experiment with and learn about different art mediums. Arts & crafts are offered every day. Theme weeks provide campers with creative opportunities to promote their artistic talents.
Swimming: Campers swim almost every day in the Campus Recreation Center pools, so it is important that campers bring a swimsuit and towel with them each day. Campers will engage in a variety of pool games, sports, and open swim activities. Certified lifeguards and counselors supervise all swim sessions.
Field trips & outdoor adventures: Campers go on a variety of field trips both on and off campus, giving campers the opportunity to explore and appreciate the outdoors under the supervision of our conscientious counselors.
Health & Wellness: A variety of health-related activities, such as kickball, tag games, board games, and capture the flag, are available daily, helping campers learn healthy habits while just having fun!
