Reciprocity


Reciprocity for Kentucky Students
In Undergraduate Degree Programs

Residents of eight counties in northern Kentucky who are matriculated in specific programs at the University of Cincinnati are eligible to enroll at UC under Ohio resident tuition rates.

Kentucky Counties Included in the Agreement Between Kentucky and Ohio

  • Boone
  • Bracken
  • Campbell
  • Carroll
  • Gallatin
  • Grant
  • Kenton
  • Pendleton

Colleges/Programs Included: 

  • Clermont College - all associate degree programs except Criminal Justice Technology
  • College of Allied Health Sciences - associate degree program in Physical Therapy Assisting
  • College of Applied Science - all associate degree programs plus baccalaureate programs in Culinary Arts & Science
  • College of Business - Honors Plus program
  • College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning - baccalaureate programs in Architecture, Digital Design, Urban Planning and Interior Design
  • College of Engineering - all undergraduate programs
  • Raymond Walters College - all associate degree programs except Radiologic Technology (Pre-Nursing reviewed on case by case basis.)

    In order for Kentucky residents to be considered for Ohio resident tuition rates at the University, the Application for Ohio/Kentucky Tuition Reciprocity must be completed and mailed to:

    Cincinnati, Ohio 45221-0060

    The application for Ohio tuition consideration under the Ohio/Kentucky Reciprocity Agreement should be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the beginning date of classes for the term the student plans to enroll. Applications received after classes have begun will be effective with the next academic term.

    Undergraduate Reciprocity Application.

    Reciprocity for Selected Kentucky Students
    In Clermont College Degree Programs

    An additional  reciprocity agreement exists between Maysville Community College in Kentucky and the University of Cincinnati - Clermont College. This agreement extends to the following counties in Kentucky; Bracken, Lewis, Mason, and Robertson. Currently there are no program exclusions under this agreement. The word "program" may mean a workshop, a certificate program or an associate degree, but it must be a workshop, certificate or degree offered by Clermont College. This agreement does not extend to any other programs offered at other campuses of the University of Cincinnati.

    In order for Kentucky residents to be considered for Ohio resident tuition rates at the University, the Application for Maysville/Clermont Tuition Reciprocity must be completed and mailed to:
