Thirteen UC Women Accepted into 2013- 2014 WILD Program

(October 14, 2013) Thirteen UC women – 9 staff and 4 faculty members –  were recently accepted into the 2013-14 Women's Leadership Development Program, commonly known as WILD. This program has been offered since 2000 to help prepare faculty and staff women for higher level positions within UC, and in higher education generally. Participants are selected in a competitive process. An advisory committee composed of representatives from across the university sets the parameters for the program and helps guide the development of the curriculum. The six month program  consists of monthly interactive workshops and networking. Sessions will be held on critical topics like principled negotiation and university finances along with facilitated conversations about leadership in higher education and the importance of stretch experiences. Please join us in congratulating this year's WILD class.
