Bike Kitchen

The Bike Kitchen is a free service provided to the community by the Office of Sustainability at the University of Cincinnati. The Bike Kitchen seeks to promote bicycle culture, safety,and accessibility as a sustainable form of transportation that builds community and fosters healthy lifestyles. The Bike Kitchen offers repair services, tune-ups, workshops, and also facilitates the Bearcat Bike Share system. For updates and upcoming events, check out the UC Bike Kitchen Facebook page.

Hours (Spring Semester 2024):

  • Monday: 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
  • Tuesday - Thursday: 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Bike Repair Stations

Need to fix your bike while the Bike Kitchen is closed?  Try one of our 3 conveniently located Fixit Bike Repair Stations!  These repair stations provide a stand, tools, and an air pump for quick fixes, and a QR code on the stand takes you to a site with instructions for simple bike repairs.  Fixits can be found at the following locations:

  • Next to the 1st floor entrance to TUC (by the Catskeller)
  • Patio on the north side of Calhoun Hall
  • Inside CARE/Crawley near the fitness center entrance

Bike Registration

Students, staff and faculty at the University of Cincinnati are asked to register their bicycle with the Department of Public Safety. Information collected during the registration process is entered into a database and used to identify the bicycle in case of theft.
