International Folk Dances

Wednesday, August 14 - September 18, 7:00-8:30PM
$80 / 6 Classes

Instructor: Kate Spencer
Location: Victory Parkway Campus

In this era of sedentary lives and virtual connections, here's a chance to have fun and make an in-person immediate connection, learning traditional village dances from Eastern Europe and the Middle East (countries like Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Armenia, Hungary, Israel, Turkey, Egypt). You don't need dance experience or great athletic ability: if you can walk and know your right foot from your left, you can do these dances. No partner needed--just clothes you can move in and comfortable shoes that will let you twist and spin. After the class, Cincinnati's two international folk dance groups will be happy to welcome you.
