Sergeant First Class Eric Schooff was born in Harrisonburg, Va. He enlisted into the Active Army in May 2000. He attended Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT)) at Fort Sill, OK. Upon completion of training, he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 13B, Cannon Crew Member.
