COVID-19 Operations

Keeping our members safe and healthy is our top priority.

Effective July 25, 2022:

  • Masks are required in the Fitness Center at CARE/Crawley except when actively exercising.
  • Masking is optional in the Campus Recreation Center.

A message from Dr. Filak: "Effective immediately, we are temporarily instituting a face mask requirement in all buildings of the College of Medicine due to local increases in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations and the recent increase in Community Level to “high” for most counties in our region. Face masks must be worn at all times within college buildings, except when in an enclosed office when alone or when eating."

Effective March 2, 2022 in accordance with University policy, masking is optional inside the Campus Recreation Center.  There are some circumstances under which masks will continue to be required including for at least ten days after an exposure to COVID-19 or a COVID-19 diagnosis, regardless of vaccination status.

Please be sensitive to the preferences of others who may choose to continue to mask and maintain social distancing.
