Graduate Student Emergency Fund

The Graduate Student Emergency Fund (GSEF) is set up for Fall 2020 to support graduate students who are experiencing temporary hardship resulting from COVID and graduate tuition increase. This fund is set up between the partnership of Graduate School, Provost office, Division of Student Affairs and Graduate Student Government (GSG). This funding is not intended to replace or supplement existing financial aid. All applications are reviewed on a case by case basis.  All GSEF applications are limited to $580.00.  Amount of aid will likely be limited to the increase in the instruction fee for your specific program.

Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted as these funds are to give immediate relief to students. Please note that preference will be given to students who do not receive any university scholarship and have (not received any other UC emergency funds.)
