What I love most about UHP

I love the unique and flexible nature of the structure of UHP. I think it's awesome that the program is experience-based rather than academically driven. This allows all the members of UHP to find the time and receive experience credit for the things they are passionate about!

Favorite honors experience

This past summer I spent a month in Greece. I took a class about Illegal Antiquities and traveled to Athens, Crete, Thessaloniki, and Naxos. As a Classics major, this trip was so special to me because I got to practice my modern Greek and learn more about ancient art and the concept of looting. It was a month full of moving around and learning, and it was definitely the most rewarding honors experience I've had!

Best UC moment so far

Serving as the Vice President of my sorority, Kappa Delta! This leadership position has pushed me to become a more organized and confident leader. I have made so many new friends and learned valuable skills because of this position and it has been such a rewarding experience.

You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think.

What's next?

I am finishing up my final year at UC! After the fall semester, I will hopefully be studying abroad in Rome during the spring semester. After graduation, I plan on taking a gap year to study for the LSAT and apply to law schools!
