Get Involved

Students, if you want to make a difference in your residence community, consider participating in your hall government. Want to work where you live? Watch for Desk Assistant position openings in the residence communities, or apply to become a Resident Advisor during our annual application period.

Professionals, consider joining our dedicated team to create a dynamic and engaging environment for our residents!

Opportunities

There are many ways to get involved through our Residence Hall Organizations like Hall Government, the Residence Hall Association, or the National Residence Hall Honorary, applying to be a Resident Advisor (RA), or applying for a Desk Assistant position (see your service center or the Employment page).

Our process for selecting the next year’s Resident Advisors (RAs) typically begins in late fall or early spring term. Once you have moved in, you will consistently see tons of advertising for programs, events and many student groups at UC. For information on groups and opportunities outside the residence hall, consult the Office of Student Activities & Leadership Development.
