Peer-Led Groups

The LGBTQ Center offers a number of optional, recurring support and social groups peer-led by PRISM Mentors. Please feel free to stop in. They are open to everyone on campus. These are always evolving. They meet once a week on the 7th floor of the Steger Student Life Center. Shades of the Rainbow meets biweein the AACRC. 

  • “Queer Spirituality” is an open, peer-led brave space for open and honest dialogue surrounding the intersections of the LGBTQ+ community and spiritual practices.
  • “Bi/Pan/Aro/Ace Discussion Group” is an open, peer-led group which explores bisexuality, pansexuality, aromanticism, and asexulity.
  • “The Rainbow Connection” is an open, peer-led discussion group for those looking to engage in meaningful conversations about LGBTQ+ history and current events and/or those wishing to learn more about their own gender, sexual and/or romantic identity.
  • “Shades of the Rainbow” is an open, peer-led group to explore the rich experiences of those identifying as LGBTQ+ and a person of color. This group meets biweekly in the AACRC.
  • “Kaleidoscope” is an open, peer-led group to explore the experiences of the transgender community, gender non-conformity, non-binary identities, and more!
  • "Inside Out" is an open, peer-led group focused on positive mental health for the LGBTQ+ community at UC.
