The Goldwater Scholarship recognizes students who have the potential to become tomorrow's STEM research leaders.
Dr. Kevin Haworth (UC COM, Goldwater National Reviewer, former Goldwater Scholar), Dr. Jenny Hyest (NCA Director), and Gregory Muha (UC Goldwater Scholar 2023) will discuss award eligibility and benefits, application tips, and pre-application and application processes. Eligibility: 2nd- & 3rd-year (or 4th-year in a 5-year program) STEM students with a 3.5+ GPA who are interested in research careers can apply.
1st-year students should attend to learn more.
U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible.
